To host (héberger) : store (a website or other electronic data) on a computer connected to the Internet

Login (identification) : an act of logging in to a computer, database (base de donnée), or system (a password or code used when logging in)

Browser (navigateur) : computer program with a graphical user interface for displaying HTML files, used to navigate the World Wide Web: a web browser

Digital (numérique) : of signals or data) expressed as series of the digits 0 and 1, typically represented by values of a physical quantity such as voltage or magnetic polarization.

Tool (outil) : device or implement, especially one held in the hand, used to carry out a particular function: gardening tool (a thing used to help perform a job or a piece of software that carries out a particular function, typically creating or modifying another program.

Online payment (paiement en ligne) : the act of paying something online, on a website.

File-sharing (partage de fichier) : the practice of making computer files available to other users of a network, in particular the illicit sharing of music and video via the Internet:

To hack into a system (pirater) : to manipulate a computer program skilfully, to gain unauthorized access to another computer system

To lock up (vérouiller) : to fix or become fixed together securely or inextricably

Chip (puce électronique) : An integrated circuit or monolithic integrated circuit (also referred to as an IC, a chip, or a microchip) is an electronic circuit on one small plate ("chip") of semiconductor material, normally silicon.

Network (réseau) : a group or system of interconnected people or things, a group of people who exchange information and contacts for professional or social purposes

Harmless, secure (sans risque) : not able or likely to cause harm, inoffensive, certain to remain safe and unthreatened

Text message (SMS) : an electronic communication sent and received by mobile phone.

Safety (sécurité) : the condition of being protected from or unlikely to cause danger, risk, or injury:

To release (sortir, publier) : to make (news or information) known or allow (news, information, etc.) to be made known/ to issue (a record, film, book, etc.) for sale or circulation

To browse (surfer, naviguer) : to search for and read hypertext, esp. on the World Wide Web

To download (télécharger) : to copy or transfer (data or a program) from one computer's memory to that of another, esp. in a network of computers

The Internet (Internet) : the single worldwide computer network that interconnects other computer networks, on which end-user services, such as World Wide Web sites or data archives, are located, enabling data and other information to be exchanged,

World Wide Web (La toile) : an information system on the Internet which allows documents to be connected to other documents by hypertext links, enabling the user to search for information by moving from one document to another.

Processing (treatment) : series of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end, an instance of a program being executed in a multitasking operating system, typically running in an environment that protects it from other processes.

User (utilisateur) : a person who uses or operates something:

Network: It is a collection of computers interconnected by communication channels that allow sharing of resources and information.

Online shopping (achat sur le net) : the act or an instance of making purchases online, on a website

Poster (affiche) a large printed picture used for decoration or information

Pitch (argumentaire commercial) : form of words used when trying to persuade someone to buy or accept something:

Ad banner (bannière publicitaire) : a long strip of flexible material displaying a slogan, advertisement

Hype (battage médiatique) : extravagant or intensive publicity or promotion:

Convenience goods (bien de consommation courante) : an object that is particularly useful

Word of mouth (bouche à oreille) : the passing of information from person to person by oral communication, which could be as simple as telling someone the time of day.

Socio-economic group, income group, income bracket (catégorie socio-professionnelle) : a section of the population classified according to their level of income (income group), a statistical classification for classifying occupations (socio-economic group), a category of taxpayers based on the amount of their income (income bracket)

Product manager (chef de produit) : investigates, selects, and develops products for an organization, performing the activities of product management.

Cut-throat competition (compétition à couteaux tirés) : refers to situations when competition results in prices that do not chronically or for extended periods
