This text was publish on the twenty-third May two thousand and six. It was extract from ITV News Online. It deals with the new look on Ronald Mc Donald. This text speaks about the new spoty image Mc Donald’s is a large companie who would revamped his own brand image. It deals with the new look given by mac Donald to its mascot clown Ronald’s in other to improve ameliorate or to increase the company image.

On facts Mac Donald’s is a huge fastfood multinational company. It runs 30.000 restaurants in the worl. In England Mc Donald’s make vegetarian menus.

It’s most popular Menu is hamburger and fries, and milshake. The traditional custumers are children. Ronald’s Mac Donald has been the mascot since 1963.

Problems : Mac Donald has been accused of encouraging obesity and health problems because its food is fattening. Kids don’t move enought. And remain too many hours in front of TV, PC.

Reactions : The company has modified its menus sellings salads and fruits as well as traditional foods. A new TV commercial is been brodcast (diffuser). Showing the company mascot with famous people/star/practising sports. No images of Mac do traditionals food are show on commercials.

To conclude this article is a very good exemple of what companys do nowadays to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Mac Donalds shows it cares about a current issue, obesity. It does a positive image of itself and two ensure custumers loyalty.
