I'm going to talk about the notion of progress,

I would like to illustrate this notion through the theme of environment

Progress is the action to go forward, to grow, to be better.

The idea of ​​progress can be defined as a development, a change that helps to make the world better.

We invent tools to make life easier. Make faster and better.

What are the effects of progress on the environment?

In the first place we will explain the world population increases and its impact on immigration.

In the second place, we will see the consequences of climate warming.

Finally, we will show the effects of progress about durability.

Environment is a main topic in a political campaign. Politicians explain how to reduce climate warming .

In the movie " the inconvenient truth of Davis Guggenheim , we see a strong increase in world population.

For example, before the Second World War , there were 2 billion people on earth. Now there are 7 billion people on earth.

So we need more water and foods.

In " woldwide devastation " the author , John Broome, insists that climate change has dramatic consequences. For example , storms, floods can cause immigration .

We need to change our habits and do not impose the costs of our lifestyle to others .

We watched a report by David Stubbs on CNN about the Olympics games in London . They used the water from the river to irrigate the park. They cleaned the river and planted with natural vegetation.

Sustainable development can be established anywhere .

In the future, I think we could make an effort for the environment. We could build houses with solar panels. We could use more and more wind turbines to generate electricity. We could develop treatment plants to recycle water .

Finally, we could teach people to protect the environment .
