Here we present the adoption of a new strategy for a fast food chain

The largest chain of bars junk food that hold ten thousand points of sale around the world decided to close nine hundred and fifty stores temporarily and lay eighteen thousand employees on grounds of unprofitability . The chain has introduced negotiations for the departure of employees and those who remain .

CEO Fred Bridle thus explains the new strategy : Eight hundred stores reopen under a new name with a new concept. Snacks and sodas will be served as a self- service will (" eat all you want ") with a fixed price.

We can perceive here the reasons for the failure of this strategy

This strategy worked so well that many customers do not lose to consume in large quantities . The company had thereby increase prices and improve the quality of food with spices, salt and sugar. What delighted consumers.

Unfortunately, this success did not last due to the economic recession, and therefore the economic crisis. But the main reasons are the diseases caused by this "junk food" (cancer, heart disease, diabetes and obesity).
