Vous êtes en stage depuis trois semaines en tant qu’assistant(e) de Michel STANFORD. Monsieur STANFORD est responsable du marketing au sein de la société GLIDER basée à Auckland et spécialisée dans le développement de sites sécurisés de vente en ligne.

Mardi matin, en début de matinée, vous recevez un appel.

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “Good morning, GLIDER Company Sarah Milton. How can I help you?

Adam KANE: “Good morning, I’m Adam KANE; (a…) I’d like to talk to Mister STANFORD please!”

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “I‘m sorry, Mr. Stanford is not available, I think he’s in a meeting right now”

Adam KANE: “Oh I understand, do you know by any chance when he’ll be back?”

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “He would be back by eleven”

Adam KANE: “Eleven o’clock! I’m afraid it won’t do. I’ll be seeing one of my most important client at that time.”

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “Would you like him to call you back?”

Adam KANE: “Yes, that would be great”

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “May I have your phone number, please?”

Adam KANE: “Of course, it’s 6 5 3 7 7 8 1 2.

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “Would you mind repeating that, please?”

Adam KANE: “6 5 3 7 7 8 1 2. Do you think he could call me at half past one?”

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “I’ll make sure he calls you back early in the afternoon.”

Adam KANE: “That’s perfect”

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “Sir, I’m sorry but I’m not sure I quite understood your name. Could you please spell it?”

Adam KANE: “No problem, that’s Adam KANE, K A N E”

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “Do you mind telling me what it’s about?”

Adam KANE: “Oh, I don’t mind, I’m a freelance webmaster and I have a few ideas I’d like to share with Mr. Stanford. As a matter in fact, I'd like him meet some of my business partners, maybe next Thursday or Friday.”

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “Maybe you could meet for lunch?”

Adam KANE: “Oh yeah, lunch would be perfect”

Assistant of Mr. Michael STANFORD: “I’ll take care of it and let you know later. Let me recap”
