My Trip In Salamanca

First of all, I want to say that this trip was a big experience for me. It was not my first time in Spain because I lived in Madrid three years before, but I have never been in Salamanca. Salamanca is a very little city, so I took my landmarks very quickly. Also Salamanca is a University City, so we met a lot of students like us from everywhere. We met French, Austrian, Spanish, and others.

During this week, Mathieu Emmanuel, Mathieu Tranchida and me were putting up by a family. The wife was the principal person that took care of us during this week while she was pregnant for five months ago. She has a little boy of five years old and a husband. She cooked Spanish meals like “croquetas” or the famous “paella” that I enjoyed. We were not the only one in this family; there were also three girls Italians. We didn’t speak a lot to them instead of “Hello” and “Have a nice day”, but they seemed funny.

We visited the city in three days because Salamanca is a little city, and it was interesting. Anyway, the most interesting for me was the church because I went at the top of it and I saw a 360° of the city, it was fabulous.

Of course if we went to Spain it was to learn Spanish, and as I knew Spanish I didn’t learn so much, not as the others, but it was helpful for the accuracy and the fluency in my speaking.

The think that I hated during this trip was the cooking course. We were supposed to learn how to cook paella but instead of cutting one vegetable per person, we just looked the cook cooking and at the end ate the paella. It’s a shame.

The day after was very cool, it was a Friday and I enjoyed it because I celebrate my birthday with all my friends in Spain. And it was one of my best birthdays in all my life because to celebrate your birthday in Spain is just magic.

Finally I will remember for a long time this trip that was magic for me. It will rest in my memory. And if I go to Spain again I will say hello to the family that take care of me because she was fabulous.
