Today, Il will introduce you a man who called Marcus Goldman, who was a German banker, businessman, and financier. He founded The Goldman Sachs Company, which has became one of the world’s largest investment bank.

His father, Wolf Goldman, was a farmer and cattle dealer. He immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1848 with his family.

In earlier year in the US, Goldman worked as a shopkeeper in Southeast. By the time he was 49, Goldman relocated to New York City. He set up his personnel company "Marcus Goldman & Co" in lower Manhattan. And began to run his business in simple credit transaction between other businessmen. Thanks to his efforts, passions and intelligence, He became the first man in Commercial Paper around the world.

When his business run properly, he invited his son-in-law Samuel Sachs into his company as a partner. And changed company’s name as "Goldman Sachs".

After his retirement in 1884, his son, Henry Goldman who had influenced and inspired by him, took over his company. Henry Goldman launched lots of new strategies and expanded The Goldman Sachs Company to other financial area such as the Commercial Investment and Trust Corporation, which developed the company in the unstable financial market with lots of concurrents in that year.

And nowadays, The Goldman Sachs Group is an international bank holding company in several financial services around the world. And let us look forward his développement in the futur.
