Jerome Jarre

Jerome Jarre is 24 years old a French entrepreneur who became a star on social networks.

He was born on June, 12th of 1990 in Albertville. He was raised by his mother after his father left them. His mother’s job forced them to move from city to city, every two years. At school, he was bullied everyday. At 19 years old he spends his life drinking and partying. At this point, he realised he had to start his life over. He moved to China after dropping out of business school where he learned english with another traveler, Chris Carm. This man also changed his way of thinking about life, he realised that “ life is about living at your full potential, getting out of your comfort zone and challenging yourself everyday”. That state of mind made him create his own companies. It failed, but he was motivated to continue to challenge himself. He learned mandarin chinese, and traveled the world. He moved to Toronto and started a software company with his friend Chris Carm. It worked great, but he was still unhappy in his life. That’s when he discovered the Vine app, and started posting videos on it. He becomes famous on this social network and started to record videos every day, in which he does something that scares him and makes him laugh. It becomes so important to him that he left his software company to completely focus on it. Later, he decided to move to New York. There, he created a talent agency with Gary Vaynerchuk, named GrapeStory. After gaining 7 millions followers on Vine, he started a Snapchat account where he posts little stories. Today, he is one of the first celebrities on Vine and Snapchat.
