A singer with a golden voice, launched by Beres Hammond. Jah Cure has built much of his career behind bars.

Born October 11, 1978 in Hanover, Jamaica, Siccature Alcock grew up in Kingston, lulled by Bob Marley, Jacob Miller, Israel Vibration, Yami Bolo and Lionel Ritchie he often cites in its influences. This is Capleton who nicknamed Jah Cure, compared to its fresh and full of youth health.

 Jah Cure develop his spirituality at the same time and approaches the Rasta faith. His meeting with Sizzla really starts, they record sets the title "Kings In This Jungle" in 1997 produced by Beres Hammond, who is very interested in this new voice. He offers to Jah Cure and to work with him on an album and takes him under his wing. Any crashes two months before the release of the album when Jah Cure is arrested, accused of rape. Found guilty he was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

So it was in prison that the legend will be built. Jah Cure benefit through a rehabilitation program of the right to record his music. Jah Cure recorded several songs on the series at the time, and some pieces quickly become real hits like "Love is the only solution."

During his imprisonment, his work will be met on three magnificent albums, "Free Jah Cure" (2000), "Ghetto Life" (2003) and "Freedom Blues" (2005).

Jah cure will continue until his release regularly mark the riddims, as with "Longing for" on the Season Riddim Don Corleon released in 2004.

 He has always maintained his innocence and whether "True Reflection" heard on the album of the same name released just after his release in 2007 sounds like a confession, the singer explained that it was not he who wrote the song.

Released on 28 July 2007, the singer with the golden voice part in many festivals around the world, each time acceuilli hero. All smiles from: he married and had a daughter and released two other albums; "The Universal Cure" in 2009 and "Word Cry" in 2012. He also card with the hit "That Girl". His new album, simply titled "Jah Cure", due out in 2015, the first single "Life We Live" is already a success.
