Immigration to europe

Attempts to immigrate to Europe have increased as a result of civil wars

They concern people from Afghanistan, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Senegal, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia.

Refugees are forced to pay smugglers to go to the territory of the European Union, taking risks, 626,000 dead in 2014.

Immigrants cross the Mediterranean thanks to boats that were obtained with a lot of money

Migrants face different obstacles :

  • there is a risk that the boat will sink because it is often overloaded, about 3,072 people died or disappeared in the Mediterranean Sea in 2014 while attempting to immigrate to Europe
  • controlled by the maritime authorities are frequent

immigrants also use the land road to go to England using trucks. Migrants are hiding in the trailer of the truck not to be seen.

However there is a risk of death in this truck, the truck can crash, there is a risk of asphyxiating ( 71 people are found dead asphyxiated in a truck in Austria )

In May 2015, the European Commission proposes to relocate 40,000 asylum seekers from Greece and Italy to other European Union states.

As a result, the European Union wanted the 28 EU member states to agree on the distribution of 160,000 refugees by September 2015.

While on average 56% of Europeans are reluctant to receive migrants.

The authorities must do something to stop this because many people need help to rebuild their lives.

These poor migrants do not want harm.

The problem is that among these mignats there are terrorists pretending to be political refugees while their only intention is to make an attack in the European Union.
