1) Do you think that GMO should be labeled ?

Yes, i think GMO should be labeled because not all consumers are attracted to GMOs, so for those who do not want a diet with GMOs they have the right to know what they eat. And by means of the labelling they will be informed about the composition of the product and thus will be able to make their own decision and not the contrary.

But also, GMOs can lead to a risk to the health of consumers, such as causing certain allergies, which is why consumers must be informed about the composition of the products, in order to avoid any health problems.

Moreover, food products containing Gmos must be specified on the packaging as it is a European rule common to all Member States.

2) What could be the consequences on sales ?

The consequences that could have on sales are not promising because consumers generally have a negative view of genetically modified foods, because in terms of health risks consumers do not have confidence in these types of products.

In addition, if all products containing GMO foods are mentioned on the labels, this could lead to a very large drop in demand, because in terms of fears consumers will prefer to adopt a preventive attitude that can result in a total rejection of these products.

3) How important the image of a brand is important in marketing ?

The importance of the brand image in marketing is very important because if the brand image of a company has been well established, it will serve to positively influence the public perception of the company. Consumers who feel engaged by the brand’s message will not hesitate to walk through the store’s doors. In this way, the brand image contributes to increased sales and customer loyalty.

It is therefore a major asset in a company’s overall performance.
