English,  the language of Shakespeare, a language spoken all over the world but more particularly in the United Kingdom. So we will see what is it means to be British today with a collage made by myself

First of all, for me, to be British is based on their specific history, including especially the British monarchy. Indeed, the British monarchy has a very great importance in a British life, the majority is very attached to the royal family who has existed for hundreds of years. It is a strong symbol and it represents the Britain in the whole world. And how to talk about the monarchy without mentioning the lovely queen of England : Queen Elizabeth II who reseeds in the big Buckingham Palace. His interventions in the British’s daily life are frequent, we can take example of the debate on the succession of Elisabeth II, the current queen of England in office since 1952.

Of course, who says queen of England says guards. The men we can see in front of Buckingham Palace. As well upholding the traditions of the past through their ceremonial duties, the Foot Guards also carry out operational duties in the UK and throughout the world as professional soldiers

Education is an important part of British life. There are hundreds of schools, colleges and universities, including some of the most famous in the world.

Education is free and compulsory for all children between the ages of 5-16. Some children are educated at home rather than in school. Moreover most school in England require children to wear a school uniform. Children's education in England is normally divided into two separate stages. They begin with primary education at the age of five and this usually lasts until they are eleven. Then they move to secondary school, there they stay until they reach sixteen, seventeen or eighteen years of age.

On the other hand British cultural heritage of remarkable richness and variety also play an important part in British life. Poetry, theater, painting, cinema and the quality of the masterpieces are recognized around the world. We can talk about William Shakespeare arguably the most famous writer in the world, or the charismatic James Bond, the secret agent of the MI6 in the novel by Ian Fleming was adapted to film on the big screen. And finally, the last but not the least, Doctor Who who is for me the best british series because of his
