Introduction

Today we’re gonna talk about Simone Veil. This women is know for her incredible story and the impact of her political engagement.

Storytelling

  • Simone Veil  was born the 13 july of 1927 in Nice and she dead the 30 jun of 2017 at 89 years old.
  • At sixteen years old Simone Veil has been deported in the Aushwitz camps during the world war two. She lost family in this tragedy, her father, mom, and is brother.
  • But she survived and in 1946 she married Antoine Veil.
  • Simone Veil studied political science and law, after that she entered in the magistrate as height fonctionar.

Actions

  • In 1973, Simone Veil want to make apply the law about the IVG.
  • She worked on the family policie for the isolate parent’s allocation.
  • Simone Veil has been the first minister to send the alert to the health’s dispenses in 1976.
  • She also made the pension reform in 1993.
  • And she is the fondator of the disability policies.

Consequences

Simone veil has spend the part of her life trying the make the French’s life better. She make a lot of reforms who has helped many person :

  • for the IVG law, the womens can have an abortion
  • for the family policie, a minimum income is guarantee
  • for the Health insurances, the drug price policy has changed
  • for the pension reform, Simone Veil change the period of pension contributions
  • for the disabilitu policie, she help the disabled to integrate the society.

Why we choose her ?

  • she as a painful past
  • she make a lot of actions for the society
  • and she fight for the women’s rights

Conclusion

Simone Weil was an exceptional woman, who wasn't afraid of anything. Unfortunately she left us not too long ago, but she will remain forever engraved in our hearts.pp

We can finish with this citation “my demand as a women is that my difference be taken into account so that I am not forced to adapt to a male model”.
