Independent Cinderella

Once upon a time, in a far away, long ago kingdom, Cinderella, a kind hearted and beautiful

girl was living happily with her mother and father when she saw her world turned upside

down when her beloved mother tragically died and her pained father remarried another

woman, Lady Tremaine. That woman was cold, wicked and cruel just as her two daughters,

the jealous Anastasia and Drizella. When her father died too, leaving her alone with those

naugthy woman, she became their maid off all work in her own house.

Meanwhile, across town in the castle, the King determined that his son the Prince should find

a suitable bride. So the King invited every eligible maiden in the kingdom to a fancy dress

ball, where his son would be able to choose his bride. Cinderella was cheerful about the idea

of going out to a party but she had no suitable party dress for a ball, but with her incredible

sewing talent, her friends the mice and the birds helped in making her one. Of course her

cruel stepmother refuses to let her go to the ball and sent Cinderella back to her room but she

was so determined that she ran away by her window which is 5 meters above the ground. She

fell and got all dirty : her dress was ruined. Under those circumstances, a neglected

Cinderella didn’t stand much of a chance of attending the King's royal ball and captivating

the handsome Prince unless she turned to her loving Fairy Godmother who has quite a few

tricks up her sleeve.

Nevertheless, would she ever find peace and,with it, her own Prince Charming ?

When she entered the castle, she was amazed : everything was bright, glittering and

spectacular : from the diamond chandelier to red carpets all over the floor. But one thing was

not perfect : the prince. Of course he was handsome but not inside. He was too pretentious,

too sexist and greedy. Absolutely not the type of man she liked.

Even though the prince was a huge idiot, Cinderella saw so many opportunities awaiting her

but not with the idea of marrying the prince or any man, she wanted to find herself and do

what she had always wanted to do: make incredible dresses with her friends, mice and birds.

After all, who’s gonna need a man to be free when you can be an independent woman ??

During the whole party, she received a lot of compliments about her dress, everybody wanted

to know where she came from. But when she said that it was her with the help of mice and
