Pampers’s brand

My lecture presentation is on the Pampers’s brand.

I will see in the first the ①founder of the Pampers’s brand then ②the firm Protect & Gramble development after ③the strategies and finally ④a Pampers’s ad in nineteen eighty two.

  1. The founder of the Pampers’s brand

The founder of the brand is Victor MILLS. He was born on March twenty eighth, eighteen ninety-seven in Milford in Nebraska and he was deaded on November first, nineteen ninety seven in Tucson in Arizona. He was an American chemical engineer for the Procter & Gamble company. This was an inventor of disposables diapers and pampers through his first grandchild because Victor Mills disliked changing his diapers.

  1. Firm Protect & Gramble development

  • The firm was founded on October thirty-first, eighteen thirty seven. It sold, at the moment, candles and soaps.
  • In eighteen fifty nine, the sales attained one million dollars.
  • Between eighteen sixty-one and eighteen sixty-five, there is the American civil war so the military needed the candles and the soaps of the firm. That has increased the firm’s fame.
  • In eighteen eighty, this is the invention of the « Ivory » soap. It is a little expensive and the good quality.
  • Then around eighteen ninety, this is the creation of thirty news soaps.
  • In the twentieth century, the firm diversified the products like in nineteen eleven with the creation of the vegetable « Crisco » fat.
  • In nineteen twenty, the firm stopped producing the candles.
  • Pampers was created in nineteen sixty-one with disposables diapers in the place of traditional diapers.
  • In two thousand seventeen in the second quarter, the firm’s income was two trillion four hundred ninety-five billion.
  1. The strategies

Pampers has the main products the diapers and the wipes.

For the diapers, pampers sell:

•Pampers Baby Dry

•Pampers Simply Dry

•Pampers Easy Ups Training Underwear for Girls & Boys

And for the wipes:

•Pampers Sensitive Baby Wipes

•Pampers Baby Fresh Wipes

• Pampers Natural Clean Baby Wipes

To vend, the brand has four slogans:

•Inspired by babies. Created by Pampers.

•Pamper the skin they’re in.

•The Pampers nappy that pulls on like pants

•Our Best Comfor Protection,

a logo.

  1. A Pampers’s ad in nineteen eighty two

The ad compose on the right of a stork who hold a pack of the diapers and say a text in the cloud, and on the left of a seating baby with a diaper.

First of all, my first reaction about this ad is that I like the idea of the comic strip with the text in the cloud. This is very childish connected by the brand. Moreover, I like the drawing of the stork who associated with a baby like in the legend. Futhermore, the baby is happy and his good humor is infectious.
