1 New York City is located on the American continent, precisely on the east cost of the USA and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean.

2 New York is a great city where there are five boroughs: look at the screen please! The first, here it is Manhattan; the second is Queens, the third is Brooklyn, in the fourth place comes Staten Island and finally it is the Bronx. It’s a city which welcomes 8 million inhabitants.

3 So that the population of NY is very diverse because of its colors and origins, in other words it’s a melting pot.

4 Ellis Island used to be an immigration station. It first opened in 1892 and closed in 1954. Twelve million immigrants were processed by Ellis Island but before they had to take a medical exam. It represented the American Dream and the gate to paradise. The American dream is work hard to have a good future. INSIDE AND OUTSIDE.

5 If you want to eat a pizza you can go to little Italy but if you prefer Chinese food you can go to China town.

6 If you like entertainment you can go to Broadway. You can go to see shows, films, concerts and so on…

7 One of the most famous skyscrapers is Chrysler Building; however the Empire State Building is famous too. It is an example of Art Deco building. It was built in 1930’s.

As for the Empire State Building it’s the most famous building in the world and it provides an unforgettable city view.

8 The statue of liberty is the symbol of the American dream for the new immigrants. It was a present given by France in 1886. It is an icon of freedom.

I would like to go to New York because it’s a beautiful city. And it’s one example of cultural diversity and melting pot.
