Essays about Monsters: Demons        

        The monsters that scares me the most are Demons. First of all demons are invisible creatures that every one that believes in God, Christians, Muslims or Jewish believe in their existence. They are a kind of bad angels that are against God and that runs human to the wrong path. They are considered as the ones who pushes to commit mistakes. One of the most famous demon is Satan he is considered as the father of demons.

        Personally I am a muslim and my parents are very religious people that believe in all these kind of things, when I was young they used to tell me some religious stories and one that sticked in my mind is one of Satan and Adam (Adam is considered by Islam to be the first person created by God), Adam was meant to live in the paradise until Satan played with his mind and convinced him to eat the forbidden apples from this tree in the paradise. This was the first story between humans and Demons and the consequences were heavy, Satan caused to us the life on earth that we are living now instead of living in the paradise.

        However, nowadays Demons are seen in a different way and the principal cause of that are movies who gave them an other dimension. Demons are today still represented with a bad behavior but with a scariest image than the one they used to have. They are now seen as a sort of invisible soul that can posesst people and all kind of things (the most popular things are dolls and animals).

        What is unbelievable is that sometimes the movies are taken from some true stories so that means that it’s really real and people had experienced that. In addition to that back home in Morocco I used to usually hear about people that were posesst by demons, these people loose the control of themselves and start sometimes having a knowledge they didn’t had before, for example speaking instantly a new language they didn’t knew how to speak it before… The only way for this

people to behave normally once again is to make these demons get out of their souls and bodies. The only person capable of doing such things is the ‘’Imam’’ in the islamic religion (the equivalent of a priest for the christians) he is capable of exercising exorcisms.

        Moreover we can see in the movies that demons are sometimes using objects and games to posesst them. This may come from our childhood fears because during our childhood we were all the time sleeping in the dark with all our toys and dolls around us, and I am sure that all of you at least once in your life started looking at your dull during the night and it seems to be staring at you in a scary and alive way, after that moment you couldn’t clause your eyes to sleep until you went to sleep with your parents. I have another experience that prove that every body has been at least once if not afraid but at least questioning himself and doubting about the existence of demons and this is when you start going to sleep you are alone in the house you turn of the lights and you start hearing some weird noises and you freak out.
