FINAL ASSESSMENT: REPORT ABOUT THE 2016 US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

I’m going to present the Presidential Elections 2016. I’ll start with general facts and the 2 main Political Parties. Then I’ll explain the electoral process, the results and the reactions after. I’ll finish with my opinion.

In class, we studied the documents about the 2016 US Presidential elections.

To begin with, the president lives in white house in Washington D.C the capital city of the USA. The US president can be elected twice to a four-year term. The requirements to vote are you need to be 18 years old in USA and the requirements to be a candidate are you must be natural citizen and 35 years old to be elected.The US president can be elected twice to a four-year term.

There are two main political parties which are the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. These political parties are symbolized by: the donkey which represents in blue the Democratic Party, and the elephant which represents in red the republican party. These two parties are so powerful, the United States is often called a “two-party system”.The Orientation is left for the democrats and right for the republicans.This year, it was decided between the democrat Hillary Clinton and Donald J. Trump, the republican candidate.
