Do you think our modern societies still need heroes? Why? Why not?

I think our current societies need heroes because a hero is a person who shows courage and value in difficult situations in spite of his fear. Every person have a idea of a hero:

    -Remarkable and courageous warriors, illustrious victors or dead in the field of honor

     -Persons with exceptional physical, intellectual or moral qualities: athletes, artists,     politicians, genius scientists...

      -People whose actions are humanitarian: knights, soldiers, police, men or women devoted to others or serving a noble cause.

The actually societies need heroes who can have every these qualities. For me it’s the soldiers the true heroes. I’m going to explain why. They are brave and strong because they puts his life in danger for protect his country of the terrorists attacks. They ready to leave far from their families and sacrifice himself for protect millions of people their don’t know.

With the terrorists attacks, we need absolutely heroes like soldiers for go to war with him to protect us. We need inspiration in our lives. It is stimulating to know that there are individuals stemming from like us, capable of putting remarkable gestures. We need him for raise the respect which we have of the Man who is solitary and who helps nobody on any account.

For me, a soldiers is heroes for the current societies.
