The mural which i chose called « The Wire » located in France, was painted by Julien Malland in 2017. He is aslo known under the pseudonym « Seth ». This street artist born in 1972 in Paris is famous thanks to his murals. He paint essentially characters notablly children. He film differents kind of street art around the world.

I’ve decided to pick up this mural because many things strik me.

This mural is spercial. In deed, it is split in two parts, on a wall of two buildings. On the right side we can see a little girl who is holding tin-can-telephone and she is communicating with a little boy who is on the left wall. They are sitting back to back. They probably made the tin-can-telephone themself using two pots of yougourt who are link with a wire.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

I think the goal of the artist is to raise awairness of the fact that people are more and more connected but at the same time are more and more isolated.

I’ve chose this mural because it vehicle a strong message : people must be less connected, less dependent on technologie, they should meet more, have more direct contacts, more humain relationship.

In my opinion, this artist is talented and the mural is very nice. While expressing his feeling, he embelliches the citie.
