The coronavirus pandemic has caused an economic tsunami in the world. While social distancing has proved disastrous for many businesses, it has been most unkind to one sector whose professionals make a living by touching people – the salon and beauty & wellness sector. Aside from this, business expenses like location rents, payment for products and paying employees remained.

I would like to focus on the Beauty sector in the UK :

The impact of the lockdown has been absolutely crippling to the entire sector, actually in normal circumstances the beauty contributes around £7 billion pound to the UK economy. A new survey has found the UK lockdown is posing new threats to the beauty sector and especially the fashion sector, as consumers’ online shopping habits could be permanently and could altered could in the long term to physical businesses.

Post the lockdown is an immense change in the way business is done, actually many businesses didn’t survive longer.

Specialists said that the average consumer spend less due to social distancing and this is something that we can also observed in the US and in France, and this on what my colleagues are going to insist.

  1. Conclusion

So to conclude we can say that there is a positive impact of the COVID 19, especially with the mask market that is expanding. We can really say that the mask is becoming an accessory and it will become a habit that has an impact everywhere in the world.
