I got my first cell phone at 11 years old when I entered junior high school to let my mother know that I

arrived at the junior high.

Cell phones were only used to call and send messages. Nowadays, they allow anyone, anywhere in the

world, to stay in touch at all times, in an unlimited way, especially with Internet. This really changed

my life. Exchanges are better than before thanks to social networks, we can communicate, have fun and

be up to date quickly. It’s less expensive than investing in paper, stamps, envelopes and newspapers

every day. The disadvantage is that without a smartphone and Internet, we are limited in our daily lives.

In general, young people adapt faster to new technologies than older people.

Moreover, smartphones are used to call someone to inform them of a possible delay to an appointment,

or in case of emergency, we can call the police, fire brigade... We can get help quickly.
