Pronunciation

I live one hour from Paris

Last summer

I live in a village with 3 hundreds people

I moved out of the house , i was born in.

Why Did you come to Ireland ? What do you expect of this ?

I came to Ireland to improve my english level , because english’s languages are very important to now, it’s the first language use in the world. I think now, it’s not an option to speak english, it is necessary to find a good job.

However , I enjoy meeting new people who may teach me their culture. I never came before to Ireland , so it’s a new exciting journey [2] !

I will be happy to learn cooking from here, because in my family , I usually cook some cake or cookies…

I expect of this travel to improve my english , i know i can’t be a bilingual in 3 weeks, but i want to be able to speak with english people easier.

In the future, when i will go to the university , I hope to do one year in London and become bilingual.

I know that the weather is not very sunny in Ireland but i came here to learn the language, the culture , see new view/scenery , because the view here is so wonderful, the grass is so green with sheep , cows , horses.

I wish, I will do horse riding with this panorama , that would be a perfect memory of here.

Irish Food

  1. From reading this passage, what do you think of Irish food ?

This passage is interesting , it speak of traditional food , the food could be product .

I believe in my country there are more food who are product because in France there are 3 climate: hot in the south ( Mediterranean) where we product orange, raspberries… ; where I live in the north, my father product potatoes , vegetable  : beans, onions .. And the last climate in the littoral where there are lots of seafood.

In Ireland , Potatoes is very popular like beans , carrots, onions, tomatoes. They eat too oranges and bananas but they have to import this .

The meat of Irish eat is pork, sheep, chicken, beef. and other seafood like salmon.

Oranges canot grow in Ireland because the climate is not adequate , They not have enough warm .

The Dairy products is very popular in Ireland for tourists , it’s made with cheese, chocolate, butter factories .

Apples and berries are frequently found in Irish desserts .

Oysters: Seafood mollusk with a rough, flattened , irregular oval shell

Raspberry: Reddish-pink small , soft fruit;

Duck: waterbird with a broad bill, short legs and webbed feet .

Melon: Large , round sweet fruit

Cheese: Food made from curds of milk

Seafood: Shellfish and sea fish served as food
