"Starbucks Coffee Company" was created in 1971 in Seattle (United States) and Second Cup was created in 1975 in Canada.

There are more than 15 000 lounges of coffee in 50 countries all over the world for Starbucks while Second Cup have 360 establishments everywhere in Canada and 15 shops others all over the world.

Atmosphere:

Second Cup → Creates a welcoming atmosphere and a design. It reflects the passion that we can feel for coffees.The design helps to create place of refuge that our guests take pleasure and where we can have warm conversations with friends ( where we can forget life's problems). They fit out with leather chairs and personal decorations.

Starbuck's Coffee → Creates a smart and comfortable environment with a new design with a place like in home. It creates a familiar and comfortable place in their stores.

The brand represents the " third place " after the house and workplace because they attract the pressing clientele.

Starbucks Coffee and Second Cup propose to their customers a free and unlimited WiFi connection.

Starbucks have a modern and mobile clientele between 25 and 55 years old while Second Cup have a family clientele.
