-Hello Mr. Semloh, I am Mary O’Connor’s Sister. She is dead yesterday afternoon.
- HelloMrs O' Connor. Are you talking about Mary O’Connor the famous actress ?
-Yes. I’m so sad, because I had not met her since two months. I can't stop thinking that death is very weird.
-Oh, Do you have any clues ?
-No, I don’t but I think Maria, her housekeeper could give you more information.
-Ok, I will question her tomorrow afternoon.
-Come at two o’clock, at 250 Brixton Avenue.
This is how my investigation began :
It was 2 o’clock p.m and I was ringing at the door. Maria opened the door. She was looking tired and the atmosphere was tense.
-Hello Mister Semloh, I’m Maria, the housekeeper. Come with me in the sitting room ; it’s here that we found the body.
-Who found it ?
-Me and Mr Steve John, a journalist working for people magazine, who she was to meet at five and a half. He is waiting in the kitchen.
I follow the housekeeper in the kitchen. Mr Steve John was attending to me.
-Hello, Mr Semloh, I am Steve John.
-Nice to meet you ! What did yu see when you entered the room ?
- I saw her n the chair, with her tea cup empty on the table.
- Who is the last person who saw Miss O’Connor ?

Traces of colchicum have been found, this was strange....Colchicum is a toxic plant, which is very dangerous and it can kill humans ! Secondly I asked my assistant to find Mary O’Connor will and I discovered that George the old friend and the sister were the two people on the will …
After this, I went to George Brown's. He is an old man with white hair and a little hunchback. He talked me about his affection for Mary for one hour. She has been her best friend since childhood. He told me he met her 2 days before the murder. He didn't say anythning about their arguing when I questioned him. I was perplexed and uncertain. Why did he lie to me ? I asked him where he was at the time of the murder and he answered he was in the train. He showed me his ticket. A train ticket for London to Oxford. He had an alibi...
As we came back in the sitting room, I saw the empty cup : I thought she was dead just after have having her tea
I decided to go in the kitchen to examine if I got fingerprints or any evidence, and next to the teapot, I found a white hair ! I understood that Mr. Brown was guilty of the murder :
Two days before, Mary and George argued and Mary decided to
