Demande de stage.

Pour votre diplôme ou votre formation, vous devez ou vous voulez faire un stage dans une entreprise en Grande-Bretagne ou aux Etats-Unis.

Objectifs : Convaincre le chef du personnel de prendre en considération votre demande. La lettre, manuscrite, et le CV, dactylographié si possible, doivent être bien présentés.

Etapes 

1 : Annoncez le diplôme que vous préparez et la nécessité pour l’obtention de ce diplôme de faire un stage en entreprise.

2 : Expliquez pourquoi vous posez votre candidature pour un stage( why you are applying for a placement) dans cette entreprise.

3 : Donnez des informations plus détaillées sur votre cursus, l’établissement où vous préparez le diplôme, et insistez sur l’importance du stage pour votre formation.

4 : Signalez les dates que vous souhaitez en ajoutant ce que l’obtention de ce stage vous apporterait ( what obtaining this placement would mean for you)

5 : Faites comprendre (convey) votre enthousiasme et vos espoirs en ce qui concerne ce stage dans cette entreprise/région.

Expressions utiles Voici une liste d’expressions utiles pour traiter ce type de lettre. Mais comme mon traitement de texte ne fonctionnait pas très bien…il y a des trous que vous complèterez.

1 : For my diploma, it is important/essential to have work experience in a British/American firm.

I should like to be considered for a placement in your company.

2: I am hoping to work for a small/big/ international/British firm and would be particularly pleased to have some training in your firm.

I have heard a great deal about your company and the excellent training facilities that you provide.

3: I am studying to be an accountant/ a bilingual secretary/ a personal assistant/ a sales executive, etc.

Having finished my two/three-year course and obtained the diploma…, it is essential that I now have work experience in a firm of international standing, such as yours.

I would like to gain as much insight as possible into international commerce.

A placement in your firm would enable me to complete my education and perfect my English.

4: I do hope that you will agree to give me a placement in your company.

I will do my utmost to give satisfaction.

5: I can assure you that a placement with your company would be a very enriching experience for me.

Work experience in… would enable me to gain the knowledge of international business practice that I need.
