Oral voyage Andalusia:

Today I will present you my travel in Andalusia organized by Mrs. Pavageau. So, we went on a trip with classes of 207 (two hundred and seven) 202 (two hundred and two) and 204 (two hundred and four) from 7 (seven) to 12 (twelve) March. We left on Monday, after the lunch, in a travel bus called “David”. Our driver for the trips was Jimmy. The trip from Montaigu to Cordoba was very long, it takes 20 (twenty) hours, despite breaks every 3 hours. We arrived at Cordoba the Tuesday, March 8 at 9:00 am (nine am), so we spent the night on the bus and ate the dinner to a motorway area. We ate an Andalusian specialty for breakfast called “chocolate con churros. It’s just churros dipped in hot melted chocolate. Then we visited the Jewish quarter and the Mezquita Cathedral. The Spanish eat late so only around 2pm we ate tapas in a restaurant. At 3:30 pm (three thirty pm), we made a track game in Cordoba and after we had an audio guided tour of the Calahorra tower. Every day we had a free time where we were free in the city for a few hours and where we could walk, buy gifts etc… At 8 pm, we discovered our host families for the first time. We were four in the house, and we were taken by a single lady, who was named Adela. she showed us the house and her animals: a dog called Dora and a cat, Minnie. Then we ate Bolognese pasta in the evening. We went to sleep and the next day we went to Granada at 7am. When we arrived, we went to visit the Alhambra and the Generalife gardens at 9:30 (nine thirty). At noon we have meals given by families and, in the afternoon, we went up the tower of the cathedral and we went to the “Mirador de San Nicolas” where we have the view of the Alhambra. We visited the city in the afternoon and at 17:45 (seventeen forty-five) we were back in the families. We ate and then we went to bed. We woke up on Thursday and left for Seville at 8 am. We visited the Alcazar, the cathedral and the Giralda. We had our picnic at Maria Luisa Park, and afternoon we discovered the district of Santa Cruz and “La Plaza de España” where we listened to 2 old men play guitar. The evening, at 7pm, we see a flamenco show with a guitarist, a singer and 2 dancers. In the night, after the show we returned at Cordoba and arrived at home. The last day in Espana was on Friday the 11th (eleventh) and we went to Madrid at 9am. When we arrived, we ate lunch at the Retiro park and after at 4pm, we went to the Reina Sofia Museum, a very famous museum where we saw the painting Guernica by Pablo Picasso and other works of art. We ate dinner in the bus and took the road for the departure to Montaigu. So, we made the trip during night and finally arrived Saturday at 7 o’clock in high school. And that’s the end of the travel.
