Los Angeles

Los Angeles is the second most big of the United States after New-York. She is situated in the south of California, on Pacific Coast

There are 3,990,456 people living in Los Angeles , 9.5 million with suburbs

the mayor of the city is called Eric Garcetti since 2013

Los Angeles means "Angels" in Spanish, these inhabitants are called Angelenos

The main language is English

Los Angeles was created in 1781 as pueblo, which was a really small village, which counted just 41 inhabitants

Now its  a global city with business, entertainment,culture,media,fashion,science,sports and technology.

With 320 days of sunshine per year, it’s almost always sunny

1) Now, I will talk about the tourism,

The classic tourist route includes generally: Sunset Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard, Melrose Avenue, Rodeo Drive,Beverly Hills, Venice beach…

Venice Beach in the Southwest of the city is a site proposing numerous activities.

The tourist visits numerous small shops, clothes, gadgets, ect …

make of the roller or the cycle or look at some painters more on the West.

Los Angeles is with its district of Hollywood one of the high places of the cinematographic industry.

Besides the panel Hollywood, symbol of the district

And a tour of star’ houses to Beverly Hills

And finally I will talk about Hollywood especially cinema

2) Hollywood is renowned for its film studios and the headquarters of major film groups.

The first film shot in Hollywood is The Count of Monte Cristo by Francis Boggs (1908)

Nestor Studios is the first film studio in Hollywood. (1911)

In the 1910s, Hollywood became the main production centre of the new film industry

Several popular films took place in Los Angeles like Pulp Fiction, La La Land, L'Arme fatale and many others…

As for television series, there are the popular Le Prince de Bel-Air, Devious Maids…

Hollywood is known for its film studios; tourists from around the world also come to admire the famous “HOLLYWOOD” sign, which is not in Hollywood but in the Hollywood Hills area

The most famous avenue in Hollywood is Hollywood Boulevard

It houses not only the Walk of Fame, but also the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood and Highland Center where the Oscars are awarded every year

It is a city with a lot of activities and history, it is a beautiful destination for the holidays.

Lots to discover, lots of neighborhoods,

it’s the American dream .
