Dear Ms. Parker

I’m curently study at Harvard university in London to obtain a restaurant owner’s degree.

I saw your posting for student employement on the job search boards at school last week and I noticed your need for a waitress in the « Student Union Café » during late afternoons and evenings .

With this cover letter, I’m introducing myself and asking for the chance to bid for that job.

I was very excited when I saw the job description because all though high school I worked part-time at Lana’s Café in BigTown bussing tables and then as a waitress.

I have the exprerience you are looking for and the interest in serving the public wich seems to come naturally.

During my 16 years I started by a summer job in California, I was a waitress in a small bar during a week and I’m fond of this job so I did some waitress jobs in some other places in Paris, Hong-Kong and New-York too.

Today I expect to work for a big restaurant in London so I red your announcement with lot of interest.

I do believe I have the qualification you require.

I'm sociable with customers and with people in general, I perfectly know the menus and my memory is quiet good. I'm fluent in english and french, and I feel cumfortable with spanish. I can coordinate and I execute chores/tasks? quickly and with efficiency.

I will be willing to meet with you to discuss further, knowing I'm available afternoons in general.

You can reach my cell at anytime.

I would be grateful if you could take my application into consideration and contact me for an interview at your convenience.

I thank you again for your attention and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best Regards
