Today I’m not speaking to you as a famous actress but like the ambassador of the advertising campaign Ben & Jerry’s Forever. This project is very important to me because it’s  a brand that deserves to be known. In harmony with the values of Ben&Jerry’s I create this poster.

Ben & Jerry's is a brand that sells original ice cream. There are some for all tastes: it is impossible that you could not find it at your convenience. From the mythical Cookies Dough up to the one with “A Collision of Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Creams mixed with Peanut Butter Cups, Fudge-Covered Toffee Pieces, White Chocolatey Chunks & Fudge-Covered Almonds” according to the description. Almost fifty flavors are proposed. I think it ice cream are the best in the world! They're so out of the common. You will find nowhere else flavors like these.

I also chose this brand to do my campaign because it has the parculiarity of being very invested. It supports its values by creating projects.

Among the subjects in which this brand is invested there is fair trade, Peace Building and climate justice.

Far Trade:

The motto of this trade mark in respect of fair Trading is: Everyone Deserves Their Fair Share.

In this spirit, they devote a part of their business to this cause. They have always taken pains to be socially and environmentally responsible when sourcing ingredients. Five of their ingredients are Fair trade certified (sugar, cocoa, vanilla, coffee and banana). In 2015 (two thousand fifteen), Ben & Jerry’s paid $1,895,778 (one million eight hundred ninety-five thousand seven hundred and seventy-eight dollars) in social premiums to small-scale farmers and farming co-ops around the world.

The trend worldwide in agriculture is all about getting bigger, a lot bigger. Fair trade is important because it assures a fair price for small-scale farmers' products—in the face of growth that could easily push them out of the market. Far trade is great news for them but it's also great for us, because Ben & Jerry's get to use amazing ingredients in their ice cream.

All the delectable stuff that goes into their flavors is Fair trade Certified. I think that make Ben & Jerry’s taste more delicious.

Every time you pick up a product with the FAIRTRADE Mark, you're helping small-scale farmers and their communities survive and succeed.

Peace-building:

The Fair trade movement is an economic justice movement. It’s important to peace-building, ensuring that small farmers in developing countries, can compete and thrive (frive) in the global economy.

So Ben & Jerry's approach is to nourish peace and justice: The conditions of peace and social justice are profoundly undermined by the growing gap between the rich and the poor. Through their own business model of linked prosperity, Ben & Jerry’s will support models of economic growth that lift people up and out of poverty and, that help create a more peaceful and equitable world.

Climate Justice

Ben & Jerry’s have a long history of fighting for climate justice and finding ways to reduce the environmental impact of their business.

Nearly all businesses have greenhouse gas emissions associated with their operations, and that includes Ben & Jerry’s.

So they rely on agriculture for their main ingredients, especially dairy, as well as manufacturing to make their products, trucks to transport their finished products and freezers to keep their ice cream cold.

But they know their carbon footprint, and are working throughout their operations to reduce it. They are working with their farmers to reduce methane emissions from farms, they lead the change to a cleaner, greener freezer in the United States. So global warming is an important subject for them and they are doing everything they can to improve the situation.
