I have received the letter you sent to our agency and I do have a suggestion for a pleasant trip in New Zealand as you asked for.

I found a bus tour from Auckland to Christchurch which permits to visit the essential places of New Zealand with an English guide in order to learn as much as possible about the culture and tradition in 14 days . What is more, The accommodation is only in 3 or 4 stars hotels

The price is 2.100 euros per person it includes the transfers at the airport, the double room in the hotel 3 or 4 stars, the crossing of the strait of Cook with the ferry, the crossing from Christchurch to Greymouth with the train Tanz-Alpine, the visit of Waitomo’s cave, the show of the sheep in Rotura, the ticket for Rainbow Springs, the cruise on the Milford Sound, the visit of Olveston House, two dinners, and of course the transport in bus.

If you want to you could buy an extra for the breakfasts, or the half-board (13 breakfasts and 11 dinners) or for a single room but it is not your case as you travel in family.

There are a few things not include in the tour such as the long-haul flight, the other dinners and meals, the insurance and obviously your personal spending.

As you can see the value of money is completely correct.

Now I’m going to give you some advice. First of all, the best season to go off to New Zealand is from September to April.

Indeed New Zealand is in the southern hemisphere so seasons are inverted.

Depending to the months the temperature is changing from 22° to 9°

Concerning the clothes, there are not really precise indications, the dress code is quite relaxed and informal. But if you want to eat in a good restaurant or go to an evening show you’d better wear a jacket or something smarter.

Nevertheless, it would be wise to bring an umbrella and waterproof jacket.

Obviously there is an administrative part : Your passports must be valid for at least 3 months after your departure and a visa is not required if you stay less than 3 months so is it not your case. You don’t need a visa.

Then, as you asked me in you letter you want to learn more about Maori culture

Here are some information I can give to enlighten you on the subject : Maori take a real interest in their environment.
