Myths and Heroes

I’m going to talk about the notion of myths and heroes. First of all I will give a definition of myths and heroes : A myth can be defined as a story about gods or heroes, it can be a popular belief or a tradition or a false notion. A hero can be a mythological figure, a person who is admired for his or her achievements, a superhero or maybe a role model or an icon.

I will illustrate this notion with concepts we discussed in class during the year . I will illustrate this idea by answering to the question “How can myths and heroes change our lives?”.

To answer to this question, I will speak about different kind of heroes in their time like Barack Obama, J.K Rowlings and William Shakespear.

I - Obama, the first black president of the United States of America.

He is the 44th president of the USA and mainly the first black president.

II - J.K. Rowlings (1965-?), a different author of the others.

JK Rowlings is an old student of university who gets her degree of University at 21 years old. Her parents wanted she studies moderns languages but she doesn’t want it and she studied classics languages without the consent of their parents. At the age of 25 years, Joann Rowlings starts to imagine an history of a young man waiting his train which drive him to a school of wizardry. This history, whose the name is Harry Potter has been sold to 450 million of unities and has revolutionized the childhood of my generation. Joann Rowlings is considered as a heroe because she build her success lonely
