L’introduction présente la nature du document, sa source, sa date de publication et le sujet dont il est question.

La conclusion reprend la conclusion du document et ouvre le débat sur une question logiquement relié à celle du texte.

Tout au long du développement, il faut utiliser des expressions comme : le texte démontre, l’auteur insiste sur, on voit dans cet article que, la conclusion de ce document est que.

This is an article from The New York Times, an American newspaper. It is dated October 5, 2000 and deals with the importance of staff fulfillment (épanouissement) in US companies.

This article uses an example to illustrate that, according to a survey, Americans now value more the kindness of their bosses than the salary they may receive. The person quoted is a women. Her name is Mary Morse and she is a computer engineer. She has been happily working for a company in Silicon Valley for two yearns under the supervision of very helpful managers. She claims she prefers to stay with this company than join another one, even if this would mean a much higher pay.

Then the text gives us the reasons why Mary Morse is happy in her company. She started working there when she was still a student and she says her manager really supported her through her internship. After graduation, the gave her a job and paid her more than she required, because the recognized her value. Last, when she expressed her career plans, again they supported her and gave her the necessary time. She insists that such support is worth all the money in the world to her.

The conclusion of this story is that Ms Morse has no regrets to stay put because people she knows who get paid more but have no carrer prospects are feeling stuck and ignored in their professional lives.
