J- It’s your turn come please. May i have your passport please.

C,M- here you are

J- Have you got any diseases ? headache ? caugh ? stomachache ?

M- No i’m in a good health, i’m too young to be sick.

C- It’s same for me.

J- So what’s your name ?

C- I’m Rose.

M- And i’m Marion Maréchal she is my little sister.

J- Where do you come from with that name ?

M- We come from the south of ireland.

J- Are you single or married ?

M- I have an husband

J- I’m single

J- I will ask you some questions.

C- What sort of questions ?

J- Only in order to know if i can let you enter it’s about your identity, your occupation etc. Well, how old are you, what is your job ?

C- I’m 18 years old, i just finished school

M- I’m 20 years old, i’m a french teacher.

J- I guess you can read and write. why do you want to come in america ?

C- Sure, Because i’m looking to start a new life in this new world. And i think with the certificate i just had it will be easier for me to find a job good pay where as in my country i have little chance to find and be able to live decently because over there the wages are very low. To succeed you need to be able to go out in a limb. Thanks to my uncle i already find a job in a restaurant

J- Yes all of those present here have the same aim. Everybody start from scratch and try to go from rags to riches. And you why do you want to come to America ?

M- I have a lot of prospects to start over.

J- You seem very confident.

M- Yes i have a dream. I wish could be Americanized to open a french high school. In my country i work for a pittance and i was tired of getting up the morning to teach to children that was presents just because their parents wanted. For the moment my uncle find a teaching job.

J- It’s entirely to your credit, you are very ambitious. I hope for both of you that your dreams will come true. Have you ever been to America before ?

C- No it’s the first time for me and my sister.

M- I’m very exiting to discover a new country, i’ve heard so much about it.

J- I love this country you will not be disappointed. How much money do you have with you ?

C- I have just 100 euros

M- Me too

J- Don’t forget to go to the foreign exchange counter

C- Of course.

J- What is your final destination ?

C- We will reach our uncle in New york

J- Please give
