India : Idea of progress and spaces and exchanges

Intro :

I’m going to deal with is seats and forms of power and the idea of progress. I’m going to talk about India because it’s a country which is changing rapidly. I feel this notion is best illustrated by trying to see if all citizens are on equal footing in India today. First, we’re going to see the evolution of India society. Finally, we’re going to see traces of history in Indian society. Is India on the move ?.

India is today the story of two duelling narratives. On the one hand, there is the poverty face. There is about two-thirds of India’s population who lives below the poverty line. For example, slums are in extension around cities like the New-Delhi slum where live the Indian poor population in hope to find some jobs. However, on the other hand there is the Indian tiger: even if a lot of Indians are still poor, India’s economy is changing rapidly. India knows a GDP (grow domestic product) very important: about 7 or 8 percent per year. The high-tech cities grows everywhere in the country. These high-tech cities such as Bangalor look like a science fiction fantasy. India is at the center of the computing communication revolution. Graduates are confident in the development of the communications technology sector and want to work in these cities. India is currently a country with great engineering and managerial talent, and a highly entrepreneurial spirit among its citizens. It’s a country on the march because its economy keeps transforming thanks to the rapid development of high-tech sector. We see this development through the document "changing india" Indian young to leave India with her family to find a better life in america, he comes back six years later and expressed surprise at the change s 'operates in its home country. the caste system has been updated since his departure , the lowermost caste now have access to studies , the '' luxury '' of the past have now become habits, tastes of chacuns are no longer defined by their memberships castes. We can see the global changement in the doc ‘’ country on the march ‘’ the graphics are clear , India is in developement. the mentality of the country evolves he remains close to its culture it is even based on their religion : very coloreful , close to animal and nature ( we can see that in picture ) Indian goddess we see in these picture , the religion it’s very important for Indian people and one would think that it slowed progress but India is in full emergence : religion and tradition doesn’t stop the evolution. We cans see tghat in the document ‘’ India march mission ‘’ an article about a picture that make the buzz for a day on internet : in this picture we see Indian scientists in traditional dress ( sari ) that congratulate the success of the orbiting satellite aroud Mars , before among Indian women was at home and not working , she had little access to studies , this paper shows that the Indian mentality about the Equality has changed , these women despite the respect of their traditions (see their clothes ) are outstanding scientists..The biggest change is that of the spirit of the Indian citizens , however India has evolved
