Mother Teresa:

When Mother Teresa was about eight years old, her father died unexpectedly. The Bojaxhiu family was devastated. After a period of intense grief, Dranafile Bojaxhiu Teresa, suddenly a single mother of three children, sold textiles and hand-made embroidery to bring in some income.

Yet, Mother Teresa's life sounds like a legend. This Albanian girl, who entered an Irish order to go to India as a missionary, became an "Angel of the Poor" for countless people; she was greatly revered by Christians as well as Muslims, Hindus and unbelievers, as she brought the message of Christian love for one's neighbor from the slums of Calcutta to the whole world.

Her life was dedicated to helping the poor, the dying, orphans, lepers, and AIDS sufferers in over a hundred countries. Mother Teresa's selfless effort to help those in need has caused many to regard her as a model humanitarian.

Our Prophet Mohammed PBUH :

Before he became one of the most venerated, and most misunderstood, religious leaders in history, Muhammad PBUH was an orphaned child and a shepherd.

His father died before his birth. And his mother passed away when he was only six. Muhammad PBUH then went to his paternal grandfather. He died when Muhammad PBUH was eight, and the boy was then brought up by his uncle Abu Talib, who was to prove his shield and protection when some thirty years later his preaching brought upon him the enmity of the people of Makkah.

Prophet Muhammad PBUH was the most trustworthy man in history. He earned his name, “Al-Amin” He was always entrusted to take charge of other people’s merchandise, and to trade on behalf of those who could not travel themselves.

He’s the most honest, righteous, pious, kind, sincere, humble, smart, merciful, and honourable person and creation of God. The best husband, father, companion, and statesman ever created.

He never harmed anyone, and is by far the greatest (human) example of love, compassion, intellect, open-mindedness, and reasoning! He spent his whole life giving and NOT receiving.

Truly the Prophet PBUH is God’s mercy for mankind!

Muhammad Ali :

Muhammad Ali is best known for his exceptional boxing career. He’s an Olympic Gold Medalist, participant of the "Fight of the Century" in the 1970’s, and inductee into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. He is indeed an incredible athlete. In 1964, Cassius Clay Jr. joined the Nation of Islam and changed his name to Muhammad Ali. Due to religious believes, Ali refused to serve in the military. In 1967 he was ordered to show up for induction in the military. Ali did not cooperate and was subsequently stripped of his boxing rights. After 3 and 1/2 years he was allowed to return to the ring. Although he was a great boxer, Ali barely graduated high school because of his struggle with reading. Ali was diagnosed with dyslexia. He understands the pain caused by being unable to perform well in school because of reading difficulties, and wants to help others experiencing the same issues. Because of this, Ali created what is known as "Go the Distance"; a series of books and magazines picked to motivate and inspire young black readers. Three years after retirement, Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. In 1997, he opened the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona.

Anne Frank :

In many ways, Anne Frank was a typical teenager; she went to movies and for ice cream with friends, she got good grades except in math, and she liked boys. And in one other very significant way, she was a typical teenage girl; she kept a diary. However, the diary Anne kept was anything but typical. You see, Anne kept a diary of her experiences as she and her Jewish family hid from the Nazis during World War II. Although Anne’s diary paints a dramatic picture of what it was like to live in fear of the Nazis in the 1940s, there is something else about it that makes it inspirational. What makes Anne’s diary so special is the way she wrote it. In her diary, in spite of the cruel hardship she and her family were enduring, Anne maintained a sense of optimism. Even with the evil that surrounded her, she wrote in her diary “despite everything, I believe that people are really good at heart”. Because of her incredible words, Anne is remembered as a girl of tremendous courage and hope, an inspiration to all.

Paolo Coelho :

Considered as a modern philosopher, Coelho experiences as a hippie, a social activist and a human being struggling to fulfill his dreams lead him to write with passion.
