After watching the short video about Malala, I’ve been astonished by her accomplishments and her will and hunger for learning and discoveries. Indeed as a Pakistani women and activist for women’s rights, Malala Yousoufzai has struggled a lot in order to get an appropriate education, furthermore she stood up to the whole world and spoke about women’s rights, as in her opinion girl’s should be allowed to do whatever they want to just as men. Therefore, Malala became the voice of all the oppressed girls throughout the world showing thus a keen interest on education and women’s position in the society. Her Intervention made the Taliban attack her as she was on her way home. She received a bullet right in her head but she miraculously survived. All this struggle and pain made her become the youngest recipient of the Nobel prize as she received the Nobel prize of peace aged 17. All of this has made me think of the importance of education , And since I couldn’t find an absolute answer on my own, I decided to ask about my friends’ opinions in a survey.

Hence, I’ve asked 20 friends of mine about the importance of getting a high level of education. ¼ of the respondents answered that it was somewhat important, 10% said that it wasn’t important at all, the remaining 65% said that education was crucial in order to determinate an individual’s life. Among these 65% , 1/3 said that they think that education Is crucial because it helps us to become more cultivated and therefore makes you a better, more sociable and gregarious person. The remaining 2/3 said that it was very important because our degree and education level determines our salary and that in order to meet our family’s needs we should have a decent salary and consequently a good level of education. I agreed with both sides because my conception of a good man is a intelligent and cultivated man that can meet his family’s needs. Therefore I think that education is very important because it lowers the unemployment rates but also increases the salary as shown below:

In order to strengthen my thesis I would also say that education is crucial not only to the individual but also to the country. Indeed, a country in which everybody is educated will make the country more developed, and more advanced in the technological and scientific fields which lead to the appearance of new useful devices that will be sold throughout the world and this will make the country’s gross domestic product bloom.

As a conclusion I would say that education is an important tool that is applied in the contemporary world to succeed, as it mitigates the challenges which are faced in life. The knowledge gained through education enables individuals’ potential to be optimally utilized owing to training of the human mind. This opens doors of opportunities enables individual to achieve better prospects in career growth. Education has played a paramount and crucial role in the modern industrial world. This is attributed to the fact prospective employees must be qualified adequately to perform various tasks effectively. Industries entail resources that are sufficiently equipped with the modern technology to suit the needs and wants of the society. This thus, makes education to become a norm for services in all industrial sectors. The primary skills and the ability to apply the skills is the basis for evaluating the
