Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe, born Norma Jean Mortenson, was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles and she died on August, 1962 in Los Angeles at the age of 36. The cause of her death is a drug overdose.

After spending much of her childhood in foster homes, Monroe began a career as a model, which led to a film contract in 1946 with Twentieth Century-Fox.

She was an American actress, model, and singer, who became a major sex symbol, starring in a number of commercially successful motion pictures during the 1950s and early 1960s.

Monroe had three marriages, all of which ended in divorce. The first was to James Dogherty, the second to Joe DiMaggio, and lastly to Arthur Miller.

Famous films: Don’t bother to knock; Niagara; Gentlemen prefer blondes; Some like it hot(she played the role of a blonde bombshell).

She was a model for Chanel parfume. She is said to have said “The only thing I wear in bed is Chanel No.5”

She is famous for “I wanna be loved by you” and “Happy birthday Mr. President”.

She is said to have had an affair with JFK and her brother.

Grace Kelly

Grace Patricia Kelly was born on November 12, 1929 in Philadelphia.She was a descendant of an Irish family who came to America. She was an American film actress who, after marrying Prince Rainier III became known as the Princess of Monaco.

She acted in a lot of Hitchcock movies like: Rear Windows, To catch a thief, Dial M for Murder.

She got a Golden Globe Award.

After embarking on an acting career in 1950, at the age of 20, Grace Kelly appeared in New York City theatrical productions and more than 40 episodes of live drama productions broadcast during the early 1950s Golden Age of Television. In October 1953, Grace gained stardom from her performance in the film Mogambo. This film won her a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination in 1954. She then had leading roles in five films, including The Country Girl, in which she gave a deglamorized, Academy Award–winning performance.

She retired from acting at the age of 26 to marry Prince Rainier and begin her duties in Monaco. She and Prince Rainier had three children: Caroline, Albert, and Stéphanie. She retained her American roots, maintaining dual U.S. and Monégasque citizenship.

She married Prince Rainier of Monaco and went to live there. She had 3 childrens: Stéphanie, Albert and Caroline.

Grace Kelly died on September 14, 1982, a day after a stroke caused her to lose control of her car and have an accident.
