3. Explain in your own words what the “Stolen Generation” is.

Answer:

The stolen generation are the black children who are removed from their parents because some have been adopted by white families and many have been placed in institutions where violence and neglect were common. they are forced to adopt white culture, their names were often changed and they were forbidden to speak their traditional language

5. What do you think about this story? How does it make you feel?

Answer:

The story of Ruth and very touching and the fact that she was separated from her mother as young is horrible, she tried to attract the attention of her mother and was instead punished and forced to stand on a leg in the center of the room.

7. In your opinion, what can be done about this problem nowadays?

Answer:

Today I think we can try to find the parents of indigenous children, offer them psychological support and relearn their culture

The trailer for this film is very touching because we see the children doing this separate from their mother and yes it makes me want to watch the film because I want to see if he can find their mother or not

13. Do you think it reflects the true story of the Stolen Generation? Why?

Answer:

I do not think that reflects the real stolen generation because I think that children could not escape as easily and travel 2500km must be difficult for such young children.
